Get my report
For labs

Pharmacogenomic interpretation for your lab's data.

Send us your genotyping or sequencing output. Get back star-allele calls, metabolizer phenotypes, drug guidance and a report under your brand for every sample.

What the pipeline does

Star-allele calling

Diplotypes and metabolizer phenotypes for CYP2D6, CYP2C19, CYP2C9, SLCO1B1, DPYD, TPMT, NUDT15, UGT1A1 and more.

Drug guidance

Each result mapped to published CPIC, FDA and DPWG guidance across 120 medications, from antidepressants to chemotherapy.

Either genome build

GRCh37 and GRCh38 input with no conversion on your side. Missing array positions are imputed before calling.

Reports under your brand

The patient report and prescriber summary carry your name and logo. We set them up with you during onboarding.

Structured results

Per-sample JSON with genotypes, phenotypes and drug guidance, ready for your LIMS, EHR integration or research database.

Kept current

We track guideline updates and release new report versions, so you don't maintain the allele tables yourself.

How results are delivered

Most partners start with batch exchange: you upload a set of files through a secure transfer we set up together, and we return the reports and JSON for each sample. For steady volume we can scope a direct integration with your systems.

Batches of a few samples and batches of thousands run through the same pipeline. Tell us your expected volume and turnaround, and we will size the setup to it.

Accuracy

We benchmark the pipeline against reference samples with known pharmacogenetic results, on whole genome data and on consumer array data. The results are available on request: email us.

Gene2Rx reads variant calls, so CYP2D6 copy number and hybrid alleles aren't measured from array output or VCF files. They need a dedicated assay, and the report notes that copy number isn't measured.

Who it's for

  • Clinics that genotype in-house and want a report patients and prescribers can read.
  • Clinical and sequencing labs adding pharmacogenomic interpretation to their output.
  • Research cohorts and biobanks annotating large sample sets.
  • Digital health and decision-support companies that need gene-drug guidance without building the pipeline.

Questions

What data formats can we send?

Whole genome or exome VCFs, genotyping array output, and raw exports from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage and similar services, on GRCh37 or GRCh38.

Is there an API?

Partners start with secure batch exchange. For ongoing volume we build the integration with you, so it fits your systems rather than the other way round.

Which guidelines do the results follow?

CPIC, the FDA's table of pharmacogenetic associations, and DPWG, the same sources behind every Gene2Rx consumer report.

How is data handled?

Files move over encrypted connections and are kept only as long as we agree with you. We work through your security, retention and compliance requirements as part of onboarding.

How much does it cost?

Per sample, priced on volume and on how results are delivered. Tell us about your use case and we will send a quote.
